Training Advisory Board
Candidates serving on the Training Advisory Board have:
- A proven track record in the field of reproductive health and expertise related to contraception training programs
- Knowledge of healthcare organizations and patient contraceptive care
- Ability to meet virtually twice per year
Community Advisory Board
The Community Advisory Board is for the REACH Youth initiative and comprises leaders in youth health and community college student health in California and Texas and key stakeholders within the community, including representatives from:
- Healthcare organizations
- Community college leadership and student health
- Reproductive health community organizations
- Reproductive health policy experts/ policymakers_
- Youth organizations
- Experts in supporting students’ related needs (basic needs, mental health)
Community Advisory Board members are expected to be able to meet virtually once per semester, and serve on the advisory board for a minimum of one year.
Youth Advisory Board
The Youth Advisory Board is comprised of community college students who:
- Have completed at least one semester at a community college
- Are passionate about reproductive health or have experience in health projects
- Are in the age group in REACH Youth, the research study that this advisory board is for (18-25 years)
- Are able to commit to at least 6 hours per semester
- Possess strong communication skills
- Are eligible to work in the U.S.
