Program Analyst

The Beyond the Pill Program at the UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health has an opening for a Program Analyst to provide programmatic, research, and administrative support. This position is part of Beyond the Pill’s operations team and will support its national program to promote contraceptive access and reproductive autonomy through innovative training, education, and research.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for trainings, conferences, and events
  • Order and disseminate program materials
  • Maintain operational systems to track study expenses, travel, vendor agreements, and inventory
  • Organize and enter program data
  • Represent the program at trainings, conferences, and events
  • Assist with program communications and office management
  • Provide administrative support, including assistance with travel arrangements, expense processing, and calendar management
  • Gather and analyze financial and operational data
  • Contribute to research and evaluation activities, data collection, and data management
     

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • 1 year of experience in health research, advocacy, clinical care, or related field
  • Ability to travel throughout the U.S. and U.S. territories for trainings and meetings up to 50% effort
  • Working knowledge of common computer, online, and data management applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and exceptional attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality, and use sound judgment in responding to issues

Preferred qualifications:

  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • 1 year of research or programmatic experience in reproductive health field
  • Experience with website management, Drupal CMS, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and passion for reproductive justice and health equity
