Liza Fuentes, DPH, MPH

Liza Fuentes (she/her) is a Research Program Officer at the The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation. Previously, she served as the Director of Health Equity Research at Boston Medical Center and worked at the Guttmacher Institute, a research and policy organization focused on reproductive rights. Fuentes’ studies focus on access to and the use of contraception, abortion, abortion restrictions, self-managed abortion, reproductive autonomy and clinical training in reproductive health.

She serves on the board of directors of Forward Together and Taller Salud, and is a former member of the boards of the Reproductive Health Technologies Project, the National Network of Abortion Funds, the New York Abortion Access Fund and the DC Abortion Fund.
