Mónica Aguilar (she/her/ella) is the proud daughter of immigrants and self-identified Latina. She is the Justice for Young Families (J4YF) Program Manager for California Latinas for Reproductive Justice where she manages the implementation of the J4YF work plan and works collaboratively with CLRJ’s program staff to support the dissemination of J4YF publications and community-informed research projects in order to advance positive and equitable policies that are centered on equity and dignity to help young parents and their children thrive all throughout the state.

As a public health professional, she hopes to positively contribute as much to the issues affecting the wellbeing of BIPOC communities specifically in areas of reproductive and mental health and uplift the holistic health of Latines.
