In partnership with the University of New Mexico LARC Mentoring Program and Bold Futures NM, this virtual, interactive training explores the impact of bias on contraceptive care. Participants will practice applying strategies such as cultural humility to help ensure counseling is patient-centered. The final session of the training will cover LARC reimbursement strategies specific to the New Mexico context.

This interactive virtual training focuses on patient-centered counseling techniques and reviews the evidence-based guidelines for providing the full range of contraceptive methods. Participants will become comfortable responding to common patient concerns regarding birth control.
