Our Timely Interventions
Our award-winning training program is backed by science and proven to be effective at increasing contraceptive access across the United States. Since the fall of Roe vs. Wade, our program has trained more than 5,000 health providers, bringing quality contraceptive care to over 3 million patients annually.
Our Breakthroughs
Our research on emergency contraception has significantly increased access to this method, especially for youth with limited access to care. Evidence from our studies informed federal policy, helping levonorgestrel emergency contraception become available over the counter, with no age restrictions.
Our Expert Testimony
Our researchers contribute expert legislative testimony with state-wide policy impact. In April 2024, Beyond the Pill researcher Dr. Jennifer Yarger presented testimony in support of Assembly Bill 2339, a California State Assembly bill improving telehealth access for California Medical Assistance Program (Medi-Cal) recipients.
Our Policy Briefs
We translate our research into data-driven briefs that influence policy and clinical practice across the country. Our briefs cover a range of issues from insurance coverage to provider training.
