Education & Communications Coordinator

The Beyond the Pill Program at the UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health is hiring for an Education & Communications Coordinator to plan and implement contraceptive education and program communications. The Education & Communications Coordinator will work with national and community partners to advance health equity through contraceptive education, training and research. The Coordinator will plan and implement internal and external communications, including contributing to articles and new content for scientific, donor and community audiences, and will maintain and update the program website. Additionally, this position will coordinate the development and dissemination of educational materials, tools, and resources for health care providers, youth, and the general public.

An ideal candidate will:

  • Have working knowledge of website content management systems, design tools, and data capture applications
  • Have experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning course authoring software, including Articulate
  • Have expertise in sexual and reproductive health and a commitment to reproductive justice and health equity

This position is based at the Mission Bay campus (hybrid-remote) and requires occasional travel to field sites, meetings and conferences in the US. This is a one-year contract appointment with full benefits, with the possibility of renewal and the option of working part time or full time (60-100%). The annual salary range is $70,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
