Contraceptive Training Specialist: (Req #66483BR) Beyond the Pill has an opening for a full-time Contraceptive Training Specialist to lead trainings for health care providers and to plan and implement health education and training activities. This position is part of Beyond the Pill’s training team and contributes to its national program to promote contraceptive access and reproductive autonomy. The Contraceptive Training Specialist leads trainings, in-person and virtually, on contraceptive care, patient education and counseling skills, implicit bias, reproductive autonomy, and health equity; builds relationships and collaborations with national and community-based organizations; plans and implements trainings and health education activities; conducts clinic assessments and adapts training curriculum for different audiences; provides technical assistance to clinics; contributes to curriculum updates and development of new training modules and health materials; and provides research and programmatic support.

Contraceptive Training Specialist – Part-Time Consultant: Beyond the Pill has an opening for a part-time Contraceptive Training Specialist consultant to facilitate trainings for health care providers and participate in curriculum development and review. This position is part of Beyond the Pill’s training team and contributes to its national program to promote contraceptive access and reproductive autonomy. The consultant leads in-person and virtual trainings on contraceptive care, counseling approaches that promote patient autonomy, and cultural humility and implicit bias; builds relationships and collaborations with national and community-based organizations; conducts clinic assessments and adapts training curriculum for different audiences; provides technical assistance to clinics; and contributes to curriculum updates and development of new training modules and patient-education materials.

This is a remote position with variable hours and flexible time commitment – 5 to 20 hours per month, depending on training needs and consultant availability.

Research Assistant: (Req #65237BR) Beyond the Pill has an opening for a Research Assistant. This position will work as part of a dynamic team conducting contraceptive research with community college students and young adults throughout California. Under the direction of the Research Coordinator, the Research Assistant will provide research and administrative support. This includes recruiting study participants; collecting survey and interview data; contacting participants to complete surveys; packing and shipping study supplies to participants; assisting with data entry, cleaning, coding, and study documentation; assisting with administrative tasks; and assisting in preparation of reports, presentations, and abstracts.

Research Coordinator: (Req #64999BR) Beyond the Pill has an opening for a Study Coordinator who will coordinate and implement research projects. This position will work as part of a dynamic team conducting contraceptive research, including a multi-year randomized controlled trial of community college students and young adults in California and Texas. Under the direction of the Research Director, the Research Coordinator will provide project management; contribute to the development of research protocols and data collection instruments; oversee and conduct data collection activities; train and supervise research assistants; coordinate implementation with study sites and other external partners; expand and facilitate community advisory board; contribute to data cleaning, coding, and analysis; and contribute to proposals and donor reports, presentations, and manuscripts.

Research Data Analyst: (Req #65110BR) Beyond the Pill has an opening for a Research Data Analyst. This position will collect, manage and analyze data as part of a dynamic team conducting contraceptive research, including a multi-year randomized controlled trial of community college students and young adults in California and Texas. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Research Director, the Research Data Analyst will plan, implement and oversee data collection and data management for an ongoing longitudinal study. This position will manage and track data collection; maintain and develop research databases in Qualtrics, Salesforce, and Stata; clean, code, and merge data, and perform data checks; analyze study data in Stata; summarize and prepare data for presentation to internal and external audiences; and contribute to reporting study progress in donor reports and the development of scientific presentations and manuscripts.
